Why Marriage Might Make You Fat?

Of all the suggested topics for the blog, quite a few people expressed interest in reading about healthy lifestyles 。Why not?

I came across  an interesting article on why people tend to put on weight after they get married  and how they can avoid it.

What a good topic I thought to myself, as the wedding season is well and truly in full swing here . However if you aren't careful and get too cosy in love there is a danger: marriage might make you fat.

This statement is based on a survey where American researchers tracked changes in weight and relationship status of about seven thousand people. Their findings do not bode well for commitment.

It is found that not only are married people more likely to become obese than those who are dating, but couples who move in together tend to pile on the pounds too.

Well,people tend to relax when they’re in a relationship. They give the gym a miss, they care less about calories , they indulge in tasty but less healthy food, last but not least, they are less careful about your appearance.

So if you want to stay fit and healthy you need keep a healthy lifestyle, by say, getting more exercise and eating less fatty food. But what else?

The research also found that couples who play sports together stay slim.

Health has become more and more important for us living in modern society. However, getting fat, in my opinion, has two reasons. One is lifestyle changed. Lots of young people are busy with their work and have no enough free time to do exercises during working days. They feel tired and unwilling to spare time to exercise and they prefer to go home directly to relax instead of doing exercises after working a whole day. Another is laziness.Sometimes, for me, it seems that laziness can control me. I ever made decision of getting up early to do jog many times, unfortunately, everytime it ended up by failure, I know how important the health is though. To staying fit, what I can think is to do sports, to eat vegetables and fruits, to keep happy mood every day... Doing sports is one of the best way to be fit but a little bit hard to keep insistent. I hope I can learn more ways of keeping health from others here.
