Shanghai is China's biggest city, largest port and one of the world's vital financial centers. It is also one of the first ports that opened to do foreign trade.

The site of Expo 2010 is located at the waterfront between Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge.

There are five – “A,B,C,D,E” functional zones within the Expo Site, each of which known as “Zone”

The China pavilion represents the Chinese presence in Expo 2010,and it comprises the Chinese National Pavilion, Chinese Provinces Pavilion, and Pavilion of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
